Your privacy is VERY important to us. We have implemented industry leading security measures to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All orders are transmitted over secure Internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. All of your personal information including your credit card information and sign-in password are stored in encrypted format at all times.
Do you charge sales tax?
Danish Design Store is required to collect sales tax for orders shipped within California. Sales tax is applied to the total amount of the order in accordance with California tax laws.
Do you offer special discounts to Non-Profits?
We are happy to work with Non-Profit Organizations, Museums, Universities and can offer special discounts. Please call 1.800.688.0974 for further information.
Can I cancel an order?
You may cancel an order within 48 hours of placing the order. Unfortunately, orders cannot be cancelled or returned beyond 48 hours of placing order. A 20% restocking fee applies to all authorized returns. All shipping costs including actual delivery costs will be deducted from the refund
What are my delivery options?
We can ship to residential and to any commercial location. During checkout, you should only select Residential if the item is being delivered to a personal residence. Select Commercial if you are shipping to a business location. For international orders, please call 800 688 0974.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We have many items in stock and available for quick ship. Availability & shipping time is noted to the left of the Add To Cart Button. In-Stock products ship within two to five business days. Local delivery time depends on the size of your order and on average you should receive your order within seven to ten business days. For delivery time on special orders, please refer to delivery time provided at the time of the order. Delivery times for special orders are approximate and given to our New Jersey distribution center. Additional time required for local delivery at final destination.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping charges are based on shipping destination and size of your order and are calculated at checkout. Danish Design Store does NOT profit from shipping charges and have established partnerships with leading specialized carriers to ensure that you receive the best possible price on shipping. You pay only what we pay! We are offering FREEE SHIPPING on many products including Fritz Hansen, Carl Hansen & Son, Louis Poulsen Lighting, and Vipp. Please use promotion code FREESHIP during checkout.
Do you offer “White Glove” delivery?
"White Glove" delivery service is available for larger orders. This service includes pre-call to schedule appointment, inside delivery, unpacking, product assembly (if needed), and removal of all packaging materials. Danish Design Store works only with the best in the delivery business and have established partnerships with experienced Van Lines, specializing in high-end furniture deliveries to ensure you receive the highest level of service. *Please note smaller orders are shipped UPS.
Can you ship international orders?
Yes, we are happy to ship international orders. For international orders, please call 800 688 0974 or send an email to info@danishdesignstore.com Please note that the delivery charges quoted do not include any local duties and taxes. The recipient will be responsible for these charges that are customarily collected at time of delivery.
How do I purchase a Gift Certificate?
To purchase a Gift Certificate, please call 1.800.688.0974. Gift Certificates do NOT expire are valid until redeemed. To redeem a Gift Certificate, orders must be placed over the phone.
What does the recipient of the Gift Certificate receive?
A Danish Design Store Gift Certificates is printed on letter size certificate showing recipient's name, the sender's name, the Gift Certificate number and the dollar value. The recipient also receives a letter introducing them to Danish Design Store.
