The PH50 Pendant celebrates over 50 years of the PH5 Lamp's glare-free illumination. The PH 50 captures the spirit of the four-shade design but spices up the classic luminaire with five new color options – Chili Red, Mint Blue, Wasabi Green, Coconut White and Olive Black.
The PH50's name refers to the diameter of its top shade, which is 50cm. Poul Henningsen's intricate design reflects light downward and laterally, which illuminates the lamp without any glare. The PH50 Pendant features a small red reflector in the inside of the shades to enhance the quality of light, and has a high-gloss wet-painted finish with aluminum struts between the shades.
