Børge Mogensen designed the Søborg Table as part of the Søborg Collection in 1952. The table was only produced in a limited number of pieces and has today become a highly sought-for collector’s piece. The sharply defined edges and pivoted ends attracts the eye as a beautiful counterpart to the home work chair. The Søborg Table can be used at the home office, in the hall or in luxury retail for a refined alternative as a typical trestle table.
The Søborg Table has a table top in veneer on a solid wood structure. The steel legs are slightly tapered, which creates an elegant floating expression from a very sturdy construction. The table can easily be disassembled flat-packed for easy shipping and storage. The distinct design suits both contemporary and classic chair design – even though the visual expression is far from generic and anonymous.
