As the artistic director of Royal Copenhagen from 1884-1916, Krog’s designs are those of legacy, elegance and Scandanavian tradition. A legacy designer, Arnold Krog worked with some of the finest materials and created some of Royal Copenhagen’s most famous products. While Krog is most well-known for his porcelain pieces, he also designed everything from furniture to silver goods and dabbled in oil painting. As a notion to the artistic style of impressionism, Arnold Krog’s majestic designs are classic, timeless and elegant. Krog’s artistry still lives today in the pieces he originally designed and are produced in his likeness by Royal Copenhagen. Arnold Krog’s legacy lives through the designs he left before passing in 1931.
