Corsini & Millet

Barba Corsini (1916-2008) was a Spanish architect who specialized in functional designs. Corsini was well-known for his interior design work at the building La Pedrera in Barcelona, Spain; which won numerous international prizes. Barba was influenced by Finnish architecture which was reflected in his simplistic designs. Joaquim Ruiz Millet, born in 1955, established a gallery named Galeria H20 in 1989 in Barcelona, Spain. La Pedrera was being restored in 1991, which led Ruiz Millet to contact Corsini in regards to a lamp he previously designed. Barba Corsini and Joaquim Ruiz Millet began to collaborate on the relaunch of floor lamp PD2.
