This autumn sees Eva Solo introducing a glass teapot that makes child’s play of making tea. Gone are the days of tea eggs or teabags leaving drips on the table once the tea has brewed – the new teapot features a tea egg ingeniously integrated in the lid which remains in the pot when the tea is ready.
The integrated tea egg is attached to the lid and is lowered into the boiling water by lightly pressing down the centre of the lid. Once the tea has steeped for long enough, the tea egg is raised by gently pressing the edge of the lid, causing it to return to its original shape. The new teapot is also extremely practical in that you can boil the water directly in the pot as it is made of heat-resistant glass which can be used on any type of cooker except induction. Afterwards, simply carry the glass teapot with you to the table – it is just as beautiful to look at as it is practical to use.
And true to tradition, like all jugs from Eva Solo, you avoid the risk of drips and marks on the table because the teapot is 100% drip-free. Moreover, the tea egg is easy to fill and then clean after use.
