FJ 64 Chair
Finn Juhl designed the FJ 64 Chair in 1964 at a time when plastics were becoming ubiquitous in the cultural landscape. Departing from his other designs, Finn Juhl conceived the FJ 64 Chair to be a lightweight, stackable piece that was versatile enough for private homes and public spaces.
The chair was perhaps a bit too much ahead of its time--it never went into production and has since become forgotten in the archives ... until now.
After over 70 years, the House of Finn Juhl has launched the FJ 64 for the modern home and workspace. The rich white polyamide shell is reinforced with glass fiber for durability, while the painted steel legs (available in orange, black, light blue and light grey) feature solid wood toes for unmistakable Finn Juhl style.
