The Wegner CH29 chair was designed in 1952. The cutting out in the sides of the back, the pointed legs and the elaborate execution of the joint between forelegs and hind legs are details making the sawhorse chair a distinctive and sculptural piece of furniture. Wegner’s construction of the CH29 has resulted in a chair as sturdy as any traditional chair but with the use of fewer parts. The heavily curved back and wide seat front makes it a very comfortable chair.
