Born in 1989, hans Hornemann is a Danish designer who graduated with a Master’s of Engineering in Industrial Design from the University Aalborg in 2014. Hornemann incorporates expressive and light hearted design in his products, and has a passion for using raw, natural materials to create aesthetically simple but highly functional pieces of furniture. He is also known for using industrial and technical solutions to strip his designs down as much as he can to the bone. Hornemann started receiving recognition in recent years, such as when he received the German Design Award and iF Design Award in 2016.
