Poul Henningsen PH Artichoke Lamps by Louis Poulsen
PH Artichoke Lamps are icons of Poul Henningsen lighting. PH Artichoke Pendant Lamps present a wonder of lighting form and function: Poul Henningsen designed the PH Artichoke Lamp with 72 copper leaves that surround the light in twelve circular rows with six blades in each of the lamp's rows. This ingenious design allows you to view the PH Artichoke Pendant Lamp from any angle without seeing the light source at the center of the PH Artichoke.
Poul Henningsen designed the first PH Artichoke Lamps for a restaurant in Copenhagen called the Langelinie Pavillion, where you can still see the PH Artichoke Lights today.
Danish Design Store is proud to offer four sizes of the PH Artichoke Lamp. Each one of the PH Artichoke Lamps is manufactured under license in Denmark by Louis Poulsen.
