Panthella Mini Table Lamp
Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen
Description:
The Panthella Mini Table Lamp is a scaled down version of Verner Panton’s original masterpiece. This innovative lamp features vibrant colors drawn from the last project Verner Panton was working on before his death in 1998: the 'Lyset og Farven' ('Light and Color') exhibition, hosted at Trapholt Museum of Modern Art in Kolding, Denmark.
“Verner Panton originally developed the Panthella lamp in partnership with Louis Poulsen in 1971. He originally wanted to have Panthella launched with a metal shade, but this was not technologically possible at that time. In other words, the Panthella MINI is a world first, based on Verner Panton’s original drawings," relates Rasmus Markholt, Design Manager at Louis Poulsen.
The Panthella Mini emits a soft and comfortable light downwards to ensure the majority of the light is spread diffusely in the room from the surface of the shade. Can be set to one of three light intensities using the touch in-line switch.
