VLA76 Foyer Lounge Chair

The Foyer Chair is characterized by a unique interplay between oak wood and upholstery, and the armrests are hand-polished with the utmost care to avoid the appearance of noticeable transitions. The Foyer Series was exclusively created by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Radiohuset in Copenhagen in 1945.

Recreated in close collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, the Foyer Lounge Chair is one of a series of three designs Vilhelm Lauritzen custom created for Radiohuset in Copenhagen. Characterized by the unique interplay between its solid oak frame, upholstered seat, and slanted backrest, the chair is assembled from three individual parts and hand-polished to prevent visible transitions. Meticulously upholstered in leather, both the seat and backrest feature handmade buttons.
